SUPERIOR MATERIALS
All pools are manufactured using new generation, high performance, corrosion resistant, eco-friendly fibreglass with improved strength and stiffness. Our onsite gelcoat manufacturing facility means daily batching of materials for a better product. Only specialty materials are used – no general purpose products.
PRECISION MOULDS
New designs are built using a 5-axis CNC router with computer generate sculpting robots ensuing precision moulds built to exacting tolerances. The edge beams are true, the shapes geometrically perfect and the surface finish is without peer.

TOP LAYER 1 - INTERIOR SURFACE
Patented Pool Colour Guard UV stabilised gelcoat containing the sparkle and quartz-like effect
LAYER 2 - VINYL ESTER CORROSION BARRIER
Protects the colour and provides a barrier against chemicals and water
LAYER 3 - ISOPHTHALIC POLYESTER CORROSION & STRUCTURAL BARRIER
Chemical resistant and corrosion barrier, providing structural strength
LAYER 4 - STRUCTURAL LAMINATE
Provides maximum strength and rigidity to the pool
LAYER 5 - STRUCTURAL REINFORCING RIBS & LAMINATE
Along with Layer 4 increases the pool’s stiffness by 47% over conventional systems
BOTTOM LAYER 6 - EXTERIOR FINISH COAT
Seals off the laminate from external influences
An optional Ceramic Composite Core can also be added for thermal insulation and stiffness, giving 7 layers of exceptional structural strength and rigidity resulting in a pool that is thicker and stronger that lasts longer.
Structural Characteristic's Like No Other
A carefully engineered wall structure with extra step reinforcements to prevent step drop or flex upon installation and a built in bond beam for keeping straight edges.
Wall Structure
Each pool in our range features reinforced ribbing for extra strength, continuous from the core at floor level to reinforcing edgebeam (excludes safety ledge pools).
Edge Beam Detail
A 200mm wide edge beam is standard with every Aqua Technics pool. The design of the edge beam means your pool is structurally sound without having to add secondary engineering works.
Step Reinforcement
Support structures in the step area ensure that backfill can easily and effectively be placed around the pool to sustain the entire pool structure. Without this, it would be impossible to ensure the backfill is consolidated under the step area.
